HAIR EXTENSIONS IN GLASGOW

From Saturday assistant to owning my own studio, my hair extensions journey has been nothing short of a wild ride!

It all started in 2014 when I styled my friends’ hair before nights out, and that sparked my passion for hair. After experiencing hair loss at 16, I began wearing extensions, which gave me a huge confidence boost, and I knew I wanted to offer that same feeling to others.

I used my student loan to train in extensions, worked for free to gain experience, and attended countless masterclasses across the UK.

By the time I graduated, I had a full client list, and while others were applying for grad jobs, I was working 12-hour days behind the chair.

Eventually, I opened my own studio (“Nu Mood”) in Glasgow where we apply hair extensions for clients and hold hair extension training courses for beginners.

I’m Daisy, I have been working with Christie for over 4 years now, starting off as her Saturday assistant to becoming a fully trained extensionist.

My experience so far doing extensions has been incredibly rewarding. I absolutely love being able to see how extensions can transform a clients look and boost their confidence.

Building relationships with my clients has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of this journey. Every appointment is not just a service; it's a chance to connect, share stories, and create something beautiful together.
